Apex legends %1 is not a valid win32 application error.

I was able to play 2 weeks ago on steam client, and today I opened to try the new legend and was met with %1 is not a valid win32 application. then I tried the DX12 version to be met with this game d...

Same, reinstalled the game 3  times on different drives. Ran it as administrator,  did  the compatibility with windows 8 thing  as  well... Added it to firewall  but  no luck so far.
