Apex Legends Controller issue PC

Apex legends doesn't recognize my 🎮 controller anymore on PC, After a few days of gaming with my PC controller, i logged in today and it won't recognize the controller anymore

    Hey @Mulix_Is_Alpha, 


    Can you try something for me when you have the chance? I'm curious what happens if you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch Apex Legends. If there is anything else running on the PC that could be interfering with the audio outputs that may help to get around it.

    Hi @Jawgrimm2. 

    It's weird that it was working OK before now. When you've got a chance can you try repairing Apex Legends in Origin to see if that helps? If there's an issue with the game data that may help fix this.

    If you right-click on the game in your Origin library you should see a Repair option when the menu comes up. Let me know if that helps at all. Thanks!

    i use a ps4 controller and instead of it working to use my headset through the controller it just doesnt work and messes up my sound

    I'm sorry, but I'm just a bit confused on what you're having trouble with. Is it just the sound that's not working when you try connecting your headset to your controller? Is the controller working otherwise?

    Yeah when I plug the headset into the daul shock 4 controller the audio does not work.

    Are you using any sort of third party software to manage your PS4 controller, such as DS4Windows?
