I've got the same problem, even with no headset connected, using the onboard speakers, I'm still getting the error.
Tried all the options listed before in this thread.
I am using EA Desktop though, so I attempted to install the game via Steam to see if this helps.
It get's a bit further and shows the main menu, it's only after this, I now get a new error message (see attached) when I launch the game for anything longer than two minutes. 😞
***UPDATE***
Verifying the installed game again on Steam, has fixed the problem. 🙌
I do think the EA Desktop App is the problem, as there was no other audio device to cause the problem. Hope this helps someone out there, with the same problem as me.
This isn't a sound initialization error anymore and as such you should start a new post or find a similar post with your new error
Getting this error. Installed on Steam, verified integrity of Files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I'm using the Elgato Wave3 and I can I've changed audio outputs and it still won't work.
