I was getting the same error and tried turning off G-Sync and now I am getting a different error:
0x887A0005 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. The applications should destroy and recreate the device. For help debugging the problem, call ID3D10Device::GetDeviceRemovedReason.
Running 2080TI
9900K
34" LG 3440x1400
Max Settings

SAme error with RTX 2070
Crash randomly without reason, whatever what's on screen- Jeeha07 years agoRising Adventurer
I reduced every setting to lowest and the game still got hung ''faster than ever'' so it has nothing to do with the graphical settings that we can change in-game. I also tried to repair the game files with the launcher and that did nothing. All my games run smooth on high without crashing, except for APEX so it most likely not a hardware problem. The problem is most likely a software problem either within the game files or the drivers for some graphic cards.
My CPU is Ryzen 7 1800X
My GPU is RTX 2080
My Ram is 16GB Vengeance DDR4 3200 MHz
And yes, I have the newest driver for my GPU ''418.81'' and both the new and the previous version ''417.71'' got the hung crash.- 7 years ago

I'm another one with this error, don't have a G-Sync panel currently.
2080ti, 8700, 1080p, all max settings.
Issue started appearing after the new driver update- 7 years ago
RTX 2080, i5-9600K, latest nvidia drivers. Tried with Gsync on and off and GPU/CPU on and off, still crashing.
