..and EA doesn't seem to be taking this too seriously. From what I've seen here in forums, we have devs copy pasting fix that doesn't work and when it doesn't work they come in conclusion; "your system is corrupted, too bad!"
My problems started 2 days ago, game just shuts down almost mid every game. No errors or whatsoever, no fix has worked and every test I've run gives great results. Absolutely nothing is wrong in my system.
I know they're not just sitting there and turning blind eye to this but they could show some actual results in fixing this rather than copy pasting things that doesn't work and ending it with line "if this didn't work you suck". These crashes were brought to most of us by recent updates that fixed nothing? At least pull it back, fix it and try again later.
Also saying that "..SOME of the players are experiencing these crashes.." is understatement at best. It's nice to see squads vanish into thin air 5 minutes in to the match. I had a game about 2 hours ago, where my squad could not find any other squads, kill feed was pretty empty and yet somehow my squad was all of a sudden fighting last remaining enemy squad. Well at least we were fully prepared to fight the last squad as no one had looted anything in the match, towns were full of loot and everything seemed to be untouched as far as we could run 😉
Hey Legends,
Nvidia just released a new driver optimized for Apex Legends. For those with an Nvidia GPU can you download the latest driver and get back to us on performance?

First game with this driver and the game crashed :D I've been trough several drivers this week and the newer ones crash more frequently. I'm going to test moving the game to SSD where the OS is not installed. Kinda out of ideas here.

Are you playing the game with all the external hard drives attached to the PC?- 6 years ago
I dont have any external hard drives. Only two extra ssd's for games and stuff. But if you were talking about those ssd's, yes they are attached. Moving the game to seperate ssd didnt help, still crashing. Also tried origins 'Repair' thing to the game, also did nothing. Now I set the priority of the easyanticheat to low cause some people are suggesting that, probably does whole lot of nothing.
- 6 years agoGot the new update and I see no change in the performance, though I never did have performance issues other than game randomly closing mid game. I mean the game runs very smoothly with easily over ~160fps, everything looks good and then all of a sudden I'm back in windows.
Yesterday I limited my fps down to 150 and when I started the game I set EasyAntiCheat priority "Low" from the task manager. After this I had no sudden crashes but I doubt this fixed anything, I might just have been lucky through end of the day. But I'm hoping it did!
