im useing fullscreen but still get crashes
I've been playing this game for 4 days, first 3 days no issues, only today I am getting issues. Issue 1: Crashing mid game soon after landing and looting up. Issue 2: Randomly get's kicked from games saying "You're offline" Clearly I'm online. Imaging EA actually being able to fix their *.
Specs:
i5 7600k
EVGA SC 1060 6gb
Hyper x Fury 16gb 2666mhz
Asus z170-a
- Wtf? I've been in fullscreen since day one and I only started getting crashes today. EA please get off your * * and fix this
FIGURE IT OUT!!!!
PS: Sorry about my english skills, but, here we go.
This crash without error on my pc (no phenom processor) was happening because when i update my GPU driver, i choose the "optional" version of the driver, and looks like the game was not compiled for this version, because it's like a beta version of the driver. So i just revert to the previous version and stop crashing AT ALL!!!
ON NVIDIA GPU: Its simple to return a version, in the software have this option easy to find.
ON AMD GPU (MY CASE): The radeon software unfortunately don't give us the option to pick the older version of the driver, BUT windows do. Open DEVICE MANAGER than select VIDEO ADAPTERS, right click your GPU NAME> PROPRIETIES>DRIVER>REVERT DRIVER. After that wait a few minutes to revert, you screen may blink like when you update your driver, after this, shut down your pc and turn it on again (DO NOT RESTART). Hope i help 🙂
Vai Braziliam!!!just try to update the amd software to the 19.2.1 version and then restart the pc
I managed to fix the issue.
In MY case, the problem was because i had a faulty RAM slot on my motherboard, even thou the ram was working fine in windows and other games, it was the cuse why APEX crashed in EVERY SINGLE GAME for me.
I had 4x8 Ram sticks, now i am running 2x8, since i removed the faulty stick its been running without a hiccup.
Hop this helps some how.
How did you managed to discover it was RAM problem?
- BigTuna_5Head7 years agoNew TravelerI know you mention "in my case", but still it's kinda irrelevant. I doubt hundreds, or thousands of us have RAM issues :D But glad it's working for you. Though, I had like 4-5 matches where there was nothing wrong, and then randomly I just froze and got kicked back to server error screen in a good match too. That was a slap in the face. (FX6300 problem) So yeah, play a good amount, maybe (I hope not) you just got lucky.
You know what ? I was wrong.
I was able to play 5 games before every thing went to hell again , now cant even play more than 2 or 3 min before the whole thing freezes and crashes again. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME
I dont know what is going on, but on my gaming laptop ( MSI G80TI ) the game runs perfectly with no crashes once so ever. i tried to do a reference troubleshooting by cloning the software side of the laptop ( aka the installed software, graphics drivers, graphics settings, game settings , etc ) to my main setup , and it did not work. So the issue is not about what software you are running while playing ( some were saying discord is the issue ) , its not the graphics driver, and its not some random registry key you need to add to fix things.
as far as i can tell a lot of users with various setups including processors and GPUs are having this issue, there is no key reference to pin down the issue. I noticed that in my windows notifications center there is an error that pops up if you leave the game frozen for a bit, it says some thing like " Application XXX was denied access to the graphics driver ", which means there is a coding error in the game engine it self, and we sadly as users can not do a thing about it.Once more, Thanks EA !
in the lobby i get a lag every 30 sec that last 10 sec and also i get a memory error. mid game.
