Apex Legends Cross Progression: Accounts Linked To Separate EA Accounts

My Steam account and my Xbox account are linked to separate EA accounts. Is there a way to merge them to have both correct accounts linked to the same EA account for cross progression in Apex?

Hey @chaosfactor31 The game progress cannot be transferred between different EA accounts. You can only use this feature within the same EA account you played with.

I'm not really worried about my steam accounts progress, I dont care if I lose it, I just want to be able to use my xbox account on my pc (all my levels and purchases are on it). Is there anyway to do that? assuming my xbox account is will become my primary account can I play on it through EA Play?
