Apex Legends Download stuck on Patching (Steam)

Hey, So whenever I try to download the latest Apex Legends patch on Steam, it always keeps getting stuck on the patching part of the installation. The estimated time of waiting always abruptly changes from 7 days to just barely any seconds. I've tried everything so far that came to my mind: -Close Steam via Task Manager -Repair Apex Legends files -Change download region

Unfortunately this also happened while trying to download the new Season 10 update. Only reinstalling the whole game fixed it, but I don't want to go through this again.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this problem?
