Error Code 30005 (CreateFile failed with 32.)Have this every time I now try to play Apex Legends. I followed all the advice. Only thing that seems to work is a full reinstall (not always) or deleting EasyAnticheat.sys file. Any tips before I finally get so annoyed I wave Origin goodbye forever? 99% there at the moment after 3 days of pure frustration.BTW this fault came with the last update. Not seen it before then.

At about the third launch of Apex Legends after reinstalling Windows, every time it returns the error 30005 createfile failed with 32. No advice from your support on Twitter helped, even a complete reinstall of Windows does not help. I will immediately say that I can't delete the .sys file because Windows says that this file is already open. I'm tired of trying to fix this game

@BattyFae I am having the exact same issue with Apex :Legends an Dead By Daylight, both EAC protected games. I can launch either one one time after rebooting.Something is not closing the EAC down properly, I can see the 'System' process taking roughly 12% of my CPU when I hit this issue, and examining my system with the Windows Performance Analyser shows that EasyAntiCheat.sys is being used by the System account when this happens. The only solution is to reboot, and then I get one more launch.This started for me a couple of weeks ago, before that it was fine.

Hello everyone,I solved it right now by excluding these paths: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends" and "C:\Users\<yourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat"from Windows defender virus scan.

No Valorant installed and no Vanguard anti cheat installed.

I've got the same problem, and I'll run you through my process.I have repaired the game files and EAC itself repeatedly.I have uninstalled everything related to EAC, Origin, Apex, or EA in general, twice.My two separate uninstalls were installing fresh to my external harddrive, which did not fix the problem, and then uninstall-reinstall again fresh to my main drive (where it is currently.)I'm unable to delete the easyanticheat.sys file because it says "File is currently in use by another process". Origin does NOT launch automatically on startup.I did formerly have Valorant and Vanguard, but uninstalled both because I was aware of the Vanguard-EAC conflict potential. Made no difference.Uninstalled and reinstalled my GPU Drivers, made sure everything was up to date, did not improve.Restarting my computer fresh allows me to launch the game 1 time. If I close it, it will give the 30005 CreateFile failed error 100% of the time until my next restart.This problem was first observed immediately following the Chaos Theory update on March 9th, and has not been resolved since then.I've tried everything at this point except installing it on steam and seeing if it's playable that way, but judging by other people's responses, I doubt it would make a difference. The game runs perfectly fine on the one launch I can get per restart, but this has very much put a damper on my desire to play, as I'm sure it has impacted others.Win10 Home version 20H2

Hello everyone,
I solved it right now by excluding these paths: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends" and "C:\Users\<yourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat"
from Windows defender virus scan.

Hey Kent, this is a very important question and I'm wondering if anyone here has a suggestion. I've had the error code 30005 create file failed 32 for the last month and I have literally tried every single solution there is to date. I've gone through command prompt and tried fixing it through the scans and systems scans, I've deleted the system .sy a million times, restarted pc, uninstalled and reinstalled easy anti cheat many times, deleted the Vanguard, turned off all virus protections and other anti cheats, ive verified the game files in orgin and steam. I've repaired it through the easy anti cheat repair service thing. It will only work when I restart my pc and boot up the game, but once i close it, when I try to reopen it again, I'm greeted with the same order everytime. It feels very hopeless as I've tried every suggestion in the book, if you know anything that would work please reply to me and help me out because it would mean the world! Thanks,

@JoshtheFlame12 Have you tried disabling one CPU core? That's what I had to do when Dead By Daylight had this exact same issue until they worked with EAC for a fix. What CPU do you have?

CPU FX 8 cores FX series >processors or 8 cores.

1.Disable one kernels. (In Windows or BIOS)

2. Reboot the PC.

3. Go to the game and play.

Sorry Kent for the slow reply.
Work only for one short game....then the problem come back...
That was weird...
I play only one game...exit ....and the game stop correclty.
Then i play more...like 1 hour...and the problem comes back.
All i have to do...is reboot the system and delete that files to play again.

that works ok but i cant play the game properly...soo laggy
I preffer to reboot the system and delete that file...
If i play with one less core the game work...but poor FPS.
I play Apex from season 1 and no problem at all...this problem cames in i think after Bangalore Heirloom update.

@Solid_EXC So yes, this is the exact same issue EAC had with Dead By Daylight. It was fixed, so EA are capable to getting a fix for it here too. The support team needs to escalate this
