My game keeps on freezing randomly while I am playing Apex Legends. After it freezes my ping goes up a ton and a bunch of error symbols that are related to network issues on both sides. This has only happened to me during this season. I was playing with a hotspot, but recently fiber was able to be wired to my house. When I had the hotspot the freezing was worse and happened more often. I tried many fixes but none seemed to help. I am unsure
Yes I was playing on it before for a couple seasons and it worked fine without any freezing, just had a higher ping around 70. But now that should not be the problem because I have fiber so the WiFi should not be the problem.
I’ve tried restarting my pc and the internet should not be a problem because it was just put in a week ago. I still tried resetting it and still had problems. But with both the hotspot and the new fiber I still had freezing problems, but only for this season. So I don’t thing it is my internet that is the problem.
I’ve tried all that besides disabling background apps like buff and blitz but those worked fine before. I also got an anti-virus recently and I’m not sure if that would affect anything.
I’ve done that and done multiple game file integrity checks on steam but I still have problems. I could try and put it on an ssd instead of my m.2, and try that but that should not be a problem either.
Recently I've been getting prediction errors right before it freezes and I've noticed it mostly only happens in battle royale.
