I have tried both Origin and Steam clients with the same result.
The only thing that worked for me was creating a new account. I have no skins no achievements or anything of the sort but at least I can play.
What REALLY pisses me off is that Respawn/EA aren't even acknowledging this problem.
Hey folks, for those still running into this issue, have you just left the game on the loading screen or are you forcing it to quit?
You may need to leave it running a few minutes longer than usual, but it should eventually load or potentially return a code: pin error if left on the loading screen.
Once you get that error, attempting to log in again afterwards should do the trick as we're generally just seeing this pop up for the first (or first few) login attempts.
Thanks for the additional reports in the meantime.
- 5 years ago@EA_Mako I leave it on the loading screen until eventually the program completely freezes and stays that way indefinitely (over 20 min). Have not been able to get to the character main menu since update launch.

While you can play after this error. Your CPU is always pegged at 100%. I do NOT recommend playing under those conditions.

Litrally every single time you launch the game, you have to wait 5-6 minutes just to get "error - pin" and they you can login right away.
Also, when you Exit the game, it just freeze (this is every single time) and only way is to force close via task manager.
Very Frustraing, every update there are technical issues sice release date, I wonder if there is any internal testing for these updates....

Same here.... really infuriating...
DxDiag attached just in case
- 5 years ago@EA_Mako however the problem persists today! I got it to work eventually yesterday, by letting it time out. then when returning to lobby after a game it crashed again. But after another try it worked.
This is pretty effective at making me not play the game- EA_Mako5 years ago

Hey folks,
I see a few of you have taken some steps to repair the game installation in Origin and verify the file integrity in Steam. If you haven't already tried that, it will be the best place to start.
We're still checking into these reports, but in the meantime can you try:
- Unplugging any additional peripherals aside from keyboard/mouse.
- Making sure all drivers have been updated.
- Performing a clean boot of your PC.
Please attach a DxDiag file if you're still running into the same issue afterwards, thanks for the information all.

@EA_MakoI have performed a repair of the game. I have updated all AMD-drivers and updated my Nvidia gpu to latest game ready driver. Still the same issue. If i kill the network connection it triggers the errormessage to appear early, and i can try again. It mostly works on the second try.
I have attached the dxdiag.
EDIT: I have now started and joined servers many times in a row without issue. will let you know if situation detiriorates further.

this is the only way I've been able to load in.
Also I've been having a lot of problems loading into private matches for tournament play. leaving my team as a duo is the worst I've already made a post regarding this situation and i know many others are having the same issue. please tell me how to fix it so i can continue playing competitive.

I was able to get it working by just waiting until the loading screen timed out (took a while), and then it let me in afterwards.
