Apex legends graphics

I have a GTX 1080 and 16GB of ram, Intel i7, yet I can't run this game on anything but absolute minimum? I have no trouble running other games like rainbow six siege on max settings. Though if I turn up anything on Apex I get serious frame drops

  • I forced it to use my Nvidia card in the Nvidia control panel and it's working ok now: https://imgur.com/e4Fw78J

It's picking the integrated intel GPU by default... Bug I guess

Try disabling the onboard graphics in BIOS. Look up how to turn off onboard graphics.

  • Seems like on my PC it was using my motherboard's Intel GPU, instead of my NVIDIA.

I went into device manager > display adapters and disabled it there.

    Been working smooth since 🙂
