Apex legends graphics

I have a GTX 1080 and 16GB of ram, Intel i7, yet I can't run this game on anything but absolute minimum? I have no trouble running other games like rainbow six siege on max settings. Though if I turn up anything on Apex I get serious frame drops

I forced it to use my Nvidia card in the Nvidia control panel and it's working ok now: https://imgur.com/e4Fw78J

It's picking the integrated intel GPU by default... Bug I guess

i had my game on my second ssd as soon as i switched it to my first ssd i got an updated around 1.4GB and the game is running normal

Try disabling the onboard graphics in BIOS. Look up how to turn off onboard graphics.

Seems like on my PC it was using my motherboard's Intel GPU, instead of my NVIDIA.
I went into device manager > display adapters and disabled it there.
Been working smooth since 🙂
