Apex Legends keeps alt-tabbing to desktop

Have you already tried setting focus assist to priority only when gaming?

You can do this as follows:
Press your Windows key and click settings.

Go to System and in the list, on the left side, you'll see Focus assist.

Open the tab focus assist and take over these settings:

When I'm playing a game: On

When I'm using an app in full-screen mode: on
