apex legends keeps running after close

Hi, After playing Apex Legends, i exit the game but it shows that its still running, but in the task manager there is no task for apex legends running. however the system process is using a lot of p...

Hey all,

I am curious if this is possibly an issue with Easy Anti-Cheat rather than the game itself. If you haven't already can you try repairing or reinstalling EAC to see if that makes any difference at all?

For more information on how to repair or reinstall it check out the EAC website. Let me know if you're still seeing the same issues happening after that. Thanks!

Yes, it's an issue with the anti-cheat.

@IAteBigFloppa This thread is severely outdated, the issue you're experiencing at the moment is most likely different than the one mentioned in this thread.
I recommend making your own thread or participating in one of the newer threads.
Please avoid necroposting in the future as it can cause a lot of confusion.

I came here from the apex reddit and people say is affecting other games that use EAC.
For me apex will close (no process in Task Manager) after around 2 minutes.
