Not really even if you have newest generation of these models of that thinkpad X1 Yoga (3rd Gen) Intels GPU thats inside these models has a lot worse performance in benchmarks than GT640 which is GPU listed in Minimum requirements so Dont waste your bandwith and time it won't work.

    Hi @ScarlettJedi

I can't tell you if it will run at all but usually minimum requirements are pretty minim as it is.

Yes, I would say you need a dedicated GPU.

As it's free-to-play, you can just try though. If it doesn't work, you know why :D

Just save your money and get an proper PC or whole new Laptop because bottleneck is going to be massive if you will use EGPU with that thinkpad its not worth at all. For that price you can also get a console with some games. I wouldn't suggest going into such expensive and temporary solution you would need laptop with veery good mobile CPU(yours is not) to utilize that GPUs performance in like 50 percent anyways so as I said save your money and get something proper so you will play games in years to come. PC/Laptop is investment for couple of years so dont be cheap on that at least its what I would do Id rather wait and buy something proper.

  • 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-7600U Processor with vPro™ (2.80GHz, up to 3.90GHz with Turbo Boost, 4MB Cache) Pretty sure thats a good cpu

This CPU is 1,5 years old so its obvious its going to be relatively good but its a laptop so thats an mobile chip so its not that good overall -old generations of i5's have massively better performance than this CPU. Decision is completly up to you but as I said its a waste of money in my opinion but thats your money.
