Having the same issue after I updated windows, and my headphones doesn't give the option to turn on loud equalization. Tried using galaxy buds because it does have a loud equalization setting, but after I turned it on it has a half a second delay, so I'm stuck with hearing no footsteps or disorienting audio. Also tried uninstalling update besides security related updates but nothing changed. Sigh...
