Apex legends ps4 frame drops

I have been experiencing high frame drops when I'm playing apex on my ps4. Every time I look around I get frame drops but when I'm fighting it gets even worse. I know this issue was affecting mostly xbox platform but since the first of many updates on the xbox performance that's when I started getting frame drops.
