Nope, it didn't, because it's not a windows update problem, like with windows 8 and those 2 updates that are necessary to run this game, that were identified in that other thread (and I'm guessing this guy came from that win8 thread and thought he's helping us). This is a problem with our older processors and some missing instructions or god knows what. But all our cpus do have SSE3, so I'm not sure what's wrong. But I hope you'll be able to figure it out 🤞

No this does not work at all. I have the all the latest updates from windows 7 but the game still crashes are y'all actually going to do something about this issue or just keep complaining about Windows updates and leading everyone in this thread along?
