Apex legends random FPS lag

So I’ve been playing apex for along time and I’ve been dealing with this issue since I started playing on pc 6 months ago. I only have FPS lag when I look at loot or other objects or abilities if I look at anything else the game is flawless I had a Radeon 5700 xt. Decided to upgrade to a Nvidia 3070 and literally have the exact same issue. Running ryzen 7 2700x any input would be much appreciated!

I even reformatted my pc to see if anything changed and it has not.

@FB-JynXThePro try updating windows.. your version is from 2019.. most likely wont solve

after you updated windows find the videoconfig.txt and there is a value "setting.r_lod_switch_scale".. what is the value in your pc?

Thats odd I always keep windows up to date and I just reformatted last week and it’s up to date how is the version from 2019

@FB-JynXThePro well if you lower this value to like 0.3 then a shape/model in the game gets rendered more in detail when you get very close to it.. when setting to a higher value like 5 the draw distance will be much greater.. just trying to figure out what is causing that lag in your game

@FB-JynXThePro not sure if this improves your lag but just have a try.. set it to 0.3 try it out.. if it does nothing try 5.. work your way to a value that improves the lag
