Hey all, another user was able to resolve their connection issues by following these steps.
I've been experiencing this problem, first tried to play about 6hrs ago and couldn't tried again just now still can't but I can see people on my friends list are apparently playing.Followed the instructions to clear cache but that isn't working. I'm on XboxOneS.

I'm having the same issue. What's really crazy is if I sign into my son's account on the same console, he can play the game. When I sign into the game I get the "unable to connect to EA servers" message at the bottom of the screen. This makes no sense to me.
When are they going to fix this?!

@MNDruggistHow did you manage this? I just tried to login to an old xboxlive account and it wouldn't let me, said I had to sign in with the account used to purchase this item. Which is weird since it's a free to play game. XboxLive wouldn't even let me download it because it detected that the game is already installed.
