apex legends unberable lag and delay
I have been experiencing lag maybe from season 4 of Apex. Not just lag but delays which make everything 5x harder than it should be.
I have several videos of myself being shot behind closed doors. Now please bear with me. No one shot me from behind. I have videos of a peacekeeper shot coming THROUGH a door and killing me. No, the door was not barely open it was closed shut.
I have another video made today where I am killed with a punch behind a closed door in GUN RUN.
How can this be explained? I am closing a door, I am seeing that door close and I am seeing myself standing behind that door but I ALREADY DIED SECONDS AGO because I am Lagging terribly! This is not a glitch, this is not a game exploit where someone figures out how to have gunshots go through walls, these are connection issues. Don't blame my ISP, don't blame my computer.
The last support assistant I managed to talk to a year ago, said I needed to format my computer.
I said that I already went through all the steps in the troubleshooting section and that nothing works because the problem is EA's servers and not my computer because I've done everything already, and she she cancelled the support chat because "I am not complying with her instructions and I am being rude". My rudeness was telling her that either I had already done her steps or that they didn't work.
She seemed to have a lot of faith in the "book of steps". Every time she game me a step to perform and I had already done it and replied it didn't help it was like I was ruining her day.
I remember a time where support assistants actually pretended to care about what we are experiencing but now, I guess EA has started a new trend. The tech support assistant who doesn't give a flying (you know the rest). Someone comes with a problem what does the assistant of the month do? Tell him to go format his machine because he will take around 1-5hours doing it (depending on the backup) and her shift will be over by then so not her problem.
I want to show a PROPER support assistant some videos I made. I especially want them to explain why do I see on my screen paradoxal things like me being killed through closed doors, or apparently dying of a sudden heart attack full seconds after I'm in total cover.
I had a 1080TI now I have a 6950XT I have 16Gb of ram a an I7-9900.
My friends who live in the same district have even better rigs than mine. They also have the same issues. Do we all need to format our hard drives despite the fact that this does not happen in any other game? Do we have to format our computers even though WE ALREADY HAVE?
Every time I ask someone on my team if they are lagging 70% of the time they say yes. Which kinda makes me happy but the rest of the 30% it is almost unbearable on my side and they say: "No mate. All good on this side".
I play in Portugal. The game is absolutely TERRIBLE 90% of the time and its barely playable the other 10%.
EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THE LAG. Only thing I see you work on is new skins.
FIX THIS.
PS: I've worked in IT for over 20 years, please spare me the "are your network card and GPU drivers updated" crap.
I've spent weeks (if not months) trying to find something on my setup to blame, I rushed an upgrade I didn't need on several components, I replaced ethernet cables, I contacted my ISP, I upgraded my modem/router. FIX THIS.
