PC Crashing With BSOD After Closing Apex Legends

Ive checked Windows Event Viewer and this warning pops up every time i open apex
"File System Filter 'EasyAntiCheat_EOSSys' (Version 10.0, ‎2025‎-‎07‎-‎18T05:02:50.000000000Z) does not support bypass IO.
Supported features: 0x4."

but it doesnt crash my pc or anything until i close apex.

Sometimes when i only play the game for a small amount of time (not going into an actual game) or in training range, my PC doesnt crash, and this event

"File System Filter 'EasyAntiCheat_EOSSys' (Version 10.0, ‎2025‎-‎07‎-‎18T05:02:50.000000000Z) unloaded successfully."

is added (possibly important because its not seen whenever my pc crashes)

i did something before with windbg (i honestly completely forgot what or how i did it) and the error was

"instruction at 0x%p referenced memory at 0x%p. The memory could not be %s."

    Quick update

DO NOT TRY TO PLAY THE GAME WHEN ITS CRASHING

my pc broke now cuz I was testing if the bug is gone and now I can’t even open anything in my pc I will need to go repair it

  • Saw this post, just wanted to post my solution. The cause for me was due to EasyAntiCheat located here in files C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS. I moved the whole folder to the recycle bin.

Then went to window security > device security > core isolation details and turn on Kernel-Mode hardware-enforced stack protection. This issue seems to be a Win 11 thing. Then i uninstalled apex and reinstalled apex with their ver of easyanticheat.

    Hope this helps!
