Apex legends update gets stuck at 8.46 gb on pc

I tried to update since my friend wanted to play with me. I tried to update and it gets stuck art 8.46gb. i leave it for am hour and i i get back its still at 8.46.  i i restarted my computer and eve...

    Right click game, click repair. It will now download the other missing 12gb it thinks you already have. Problem solved.
