Update:
I just upgraded my home cpu with E5-2667 V4 which I bought used for $166, With the new cpu that has 2,9GHz 8 core 16 thread, no more hiccup ever occur. My old E5-2628L V4 rarely have hiccup, mostly once every 1 hour, but now its completely gone. New cpu only use like 25%.
Those who have low thread count cpu, do consider upgrade. Even my i7-3770K @4GHz which is very old do not cause any problem at all. I think its still a good cpu for GTX 1060 class or below.
to those saying upgrade their cpu i have a 4 core , 6 thread i believe core i5 8300h.. and since ive bought this laptop its been running apex legends on high settings with shadows / sun coverage/ light stuff disabled 100+ fps... but now this is happening.. i cant really upgrade the cpu of my laptop.. i have to fix this used to work fine for 2 years now

I'm in the same boat. Asus RoG Zephyrus G with an R7 R3750H and this has been a dream machine for Apex's usually meager requirements. Something broke yesterday, and now the game is completely *not* fun because my CPU just shoots to 100% on all cores every few seconds. Doesn't happen in firing range, or lobby... just on maps. Trying reinstalling the game now, but I'd really like to see a definitive answer to why this happens rather than "try EVERYTHING".

Try reinstalling windows and without installing any bloat ware just install apex and run the game- 6 years ago
Um, no? Everything else on this laptop runs amazing. If windows has to be reinstalled to fix Apex, goodbye Apex.
