I've tried all I could.. and can't get the game to work passed the main screen, where I click to continue, and it loads for ever, then says connection to server times out. It's not my internet, or my region... nothing is working.

even left the game open and slept overnight and woke up

Hey guys, I found a solution to this problem.
When I first launched the game I had no problems with it. But when I started changing things in my 3d settings on the NVIDIA Control Panel, the game would not load and give the errors; 'Client is not running the anti cheat' and 'Connection to server timed out'. When I changed the settings back, the game would load properly.
Possibly, if you go into your NVIDIA Control Panel (right click on your desktop) go to 'Manage 3D settings' go to 'Program Settings'. Select 'Apex Legends' and make sure your right graphics card is set. Then start changing the settings in 'Specify the settings for this program', try your changes, I am certain it will load.

This game JUST released FOR FREE and people waste no time calling it "crap", insulting the people who have every reason to fix the game (That's how they make money, kid.), and tossing their 5th grade vocabulary around like they were paid to be here.

same * problem with this * it is the first time trying this game havent even opend it so far 0/10. have talked with a supporter and it still dosen´t * work fix ur game 1 week if i cant play i will not even try this game.
Stay in the starting screen for about a minute, press double esc and click data center, now you can choose a server to which you want to connect. Pick one with low ping and package loss
