  • @EA_Atic I’ve also been having this recurring issue with Apex Legends and can’t find a permanent issue to it.

Whenever I ready up to solo queue for a match, the game tells me “party is not ready” even though nobody else is in my party and I’ve pressed the “ready up”button.

    I’ve tried multiple solutions including:
Changing my DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
    Restarting my application
Going back to menu and returning to lobby
    Restarting my PS5
Clearing my cache (which only worked temporarily, I tried it several times again when the issue returned and it didn’t work)
Uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.

No matter what the issue has always come back. Sometimes when I wait a few hours for the issue to be resolved I start up Apex only to be met with the message “Unable to connect to EA servers. Please check your Internet connection and try again. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information”.

    Please help.

I have the same problem almost every time I play with friends or random people. Could EA suggest a fix for this? It's very annoying and it push me away from the game more and more...

  • In almost 5 months, I never got an answer with a fix from EA. After 6 months of having to deal with this bug, looking around multiple websites for a fix and trying all of them (Wich none of them worked), the game fixed itself randomly. But in my research, I fond that a lot of people who linked their apex account to multiple platforms (by platforms I mean, amazone prime, steam, EA access, twitch) were affected by this bug. Maybe you just have to update your account info on these platforms or find a way to erase those unnecessary links since the connection between those platforms might be at cause

  • It also happening to me on my console (ps5) and I can’t load into any match. I’ve tried reboot the console or the game, reinstall, reconnect to internet and change the DNS, but still not working for me.
so I don’t know what can be done no. Pls help.

So, I managed to find a temporary solution:

It seems that when I play over wifi instead of wired it happens more frequently. My hypothesis is that it has something to do with the stability of your internet connection. My PS4 seems to try to connect to PlayStation Network and when the connection is not stable enough the connection is refused and it says unsuccessful connecting to PSN (You can check your connection to PSN by going to Settings -> Network -> Test Internet Connection). So although connection to internet is successful, connection to PlayStation Network is not.

    What helps for me is:

    • (Using wired connection to internet is preferable, but the fix works for wifi as well)
    • Open Apex Legends -> start queuing for a match (says part not ready)
    • Disconnect my router from electricity so it turns off
    • Leave it turned off for a few seconds (to make sure it disconnects from the internet)
    • Reconnect the router
    • Apex Legends now says it lost connection, click Retry and queue again (party not ready should not appear now)
    • You can check in the settings and it should say now PlayStation Network sign-in successful

It usually takes only one try but I have had to do it two times in a row a few times.
And I should also say the party not ready glitch sometimes returns the next day (and then it's okay two weeks in a row, so quite random).

Also I do not know why but it works better if you start queuing for a match before you disconnect the router (or it does not and I just got luck/unlucky).

  • This fix worked for me, thank you!
Not sure if it's temporary or permanent yet but I've managed to have a normal game session with my friends without any hiccups.
