Apex won't auto update(PS4)

I'm on ps4 and Apex won't auto update. I got it enabled in the settings and I've tried to rebuild my database but it will only update once I've tried to open the game. Please help

Try manually updating as follows:

From the game library, hover over the game you want to update.
Press the Options button on your controller. It should open the side menu.
Select "Check for Update."
If there's an update available, follow the instructions to install the update for that specific game.

Please figure out how to get updates to auto download. Either get Sony to change their system schedule or simply release updates so that we do t have to wait to play the game. It's bad business to make people wait to use your product. I'm very close to stop playing because of this. I'm sick of it.
