Apex wont open and i dont know how to fix it

I try opening apex and the loading screen pops up for a second then an engine error pops up saying the following"Found a NUL inside a character buffer this file is likely UTF-16 or binary but is somehow being treated as a regular text file by DFS" I've tried uninstalling the game then redownloading it, I've tried updating it and repairing it and nothing works if someone could please reach back to me on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey @XMAN1457 

    I'm guessing you are talking about the Engine Error: Profile.cfg error.
    This can be solved quickly so don't worry.

    Navigate to the shown folder (the path is C:/Users/<YOUR USER>/Saved Games/ ), and rename/delete the mentioned file.

    After that, start the game.

    The file should get recreated, and the issue should be resolved. If it does not get fixed, try repairing the game.

    If the above does not work, delete the mentioned files again, restart your PC and run Origin as administrator.

    This is ridiculous,  i too have the same problem except i tried my desktop and my laptop and bith have the same problem.  Can't play because of something null character.  EA, why dont you fix rhis issue, this came after the update and its frustrating that i been playing this game since day 1, worked hard at it, only to have this show up on season 3. You say do this and that change file name but why doesn't EA address or fix rhe issue already!!!

    i even uninstalled my game on both my laptop and pc, reinstalled origin and i just can't play

    Hey @JuanS0I0 

    If you follow the steps I provided you should be able to play again.
    Seems like the holiday update affected a small part of the player base but can be fixed really quick.

    If my solution changed anything, let me know 🙂

    Not working!Stil can not getting in! I even reinstall game,and i give up.
