Banned from Apex after years of not playing with no reason provided

Banned after years of not playing?

It seems from searching the forums there was a mass ban that happened in the month of October last year (2023). I spent about 2 hours downloading Apex just to see that I was banned. When I check my EA account, it says that I was banned on the 27th of Oct. 2023 at around 11:49 pm .. 

So, after some digging I did not appear to have an account breach. My steam shows no playtime around that time. So when I went to dispute it it shows the reason field as blank. After emailing the support, they said that I had been cheating. Which is strange considering I had not played the game for over 2 years.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you get it resolved? I sent another email with a brand new case providing more info.
