Can I unlink my Steam account without losing Heirloom

I'll be handing my PC over to my brother, as well as my steam account since we use the same account (1 acc 1 pc). But I'm not willing to hand over my Apex account so I'm thinking of unlinking the ste...

There's no way of knowing this for sure, the chance of data loss will always exist when unlinking accounts.
As far I'm aware, there aren't any methods to prevent data loss.
Next to that, I'm not really sure if there are any plans to change this in the future.
One thing is for sure though, this sucks a lot.

So at the end of the day, if i do decide to unlink my account theres always a 50/50 chance huh. This sucks haha, I shouldnt have linked it to steam in the first place if I knew they'd do something like this. Feel scammed when I can't even unlink my steam account when the only difference from the 2 clients are my IGN. Shared progress, cosmetics etc but still gatekeeps you from unlinking one platform haha. Thanks for the reply tho!
