@EA_Darko many thanks for your reply to my comment. Please tell me which part of my constructive feedback you considered to be impolite. I am very much looking forward to hearing what you feel offended you.
You do realise that by requesting only this behaviour from your community you are essentially asking them to censor themselves, right?
What I said is true, I stand by it and you cannot deny it. You have not even provided this community with an explanation as to why progression is not available across platforms. I see over 11 pages of replies only scripted non-responses from you. Imagine how insulted your players feel. Then you have to pure audacity to request a certain style of feedback. I'm afraid you are living in a dream world my friend.
It is outrageous that while other developers like Epic and Activision have mastered cross platform gaming and progression from launch, there has been no fix to this issue from EA. This thread was started in 2019 and here we are in March 2021 with people asking the same question; feeling the same frustration. The overwhelming majority seems to be players who have switched from console to PC, like myself. One reason for making this switch is to invest further in a chosen game, breaking the limitations set by consoles, to play more and achieve more through the PC hardware. These is your hardcore fanbase and probably players who are paying customers with larger disposable incomes for gaming than casual console players. I am struggling to see why your company would not look to create a comfortable gaming environment for them. A happy customer is willing to spend more. This is basic retail yet it is something your games as a service model seems to completely ignore. The feeling when making a switch and realising all your hard work on a game and all your cosmetic items are lost is heartbreaking when you have invested considerable time into it. A lot of these cosmetic items are most likely no longer obtainable - so, as I'm sure is the goal, even if a player was to make further purchases they could not gain access to them again. How do you think this will affect the time and money they invest in your product moving forward?
EA is an enormous company with years experience and should know better and their players deserve better. The technology is available for this to be a reality. Instead of acting offended and avoiding the point of the thread by referring to forum T&Cs, why don't you provide us with an update on what plans there are for this to happen and when it will be available?
As I mentioned above, I am very much looking forward to your response.
