Connecting to wrong server - Says better ping on far away server than local

Choose the server with less lag. For instance Frankfurt is closer to me but I prefer Belgium.

The server closest to me has worse ping, yet servers 700 miles away show better ping on the Apex servers. I even contacted my ISP and another service on where my ip is pinging or location and it’s my correct city. They said to check and contact Apex. 

Yes does anyone have an idea what could be happening? It’s saying my primary server is a state 7 states away with a 43ms ping while my actual state of Virginia is showing a 56 ping. PLEASE help! I’ve done tried rebuilding the database and deleting the game and redownloading it. I don’t think it’s my ISP either. 

Please Respawn! Help me! Why is the game identifying my main closest server as one far away? My actual server has worse ping. It’s locating me in a different area than I am. My Geo location on my IP is showing my actual location so I know it’s not my ISP. It’s your game. 

Its not how far away servers are. Its how compatible servers are to your ISP. Telecom wich is biggest ISP in europe has issues talking with frankfurkt servers so even if you live in frankfurt you still gonna get connection issues. My friend constantly has 30-40 ms.

You litterally have to shove a lan cable dirrectly in apex server to have low ping. Thats how * up apex data flow is and how unoptimized and big it is.

It will take em atleast 2-3 years to optimize the sht out of it. But the thing is optimizing a game doesnt pay the bills. Making new skins, legends and other paid content does.... so we are where we are...
