Hi, can I check your, platform, region and ISP? From what I'm seeing there's a regional component to this issue.

- 5 years ago@EA_David I am based in Pretoria, South Africa. My internet service provider is Telkom. I am not sure what the problem is as I have been playing the game fine for the past few months. Friends based around me are not having these issues so I'm not sure what the problem could be.

I'm from Johannesburg and I have fibre that I use to play on but it was too laggy. I started using my LTE but after the update it stopped allowing me to play. The LTE has a NAT type of 3 and the Fibre has a NAT type of 2 so I dunno what could be the problem.

@SizDiz Same here. Same error msg. Also from pretoria SA and also Telkom int provider. My * started after the recent update. Now i cant play at all. Hope they get this sorted soon. 😬

So do we have any feedback from EA as to whats happening?? Seems like the best option is to just uninstall the game and move over to COD....

Change ISP. Telkom is utter trash. It helps a bit. Will still give lag on the count of apex trashy servers.

Same dude...same. Apex needs to up their server game. Servers have always been bad for this game I don't know why they haven't done anything about it when they're earning so much.

Potential fix for South Africans with Telkom LTE router ...
i was having this issue since the update, but just played 3 games in a row!
use your browser to access the router using its IP address should be 192.168.8.1
Then login .. password & username should be admin admin respectively
if it isn’t ... reset router using the small button at the back
go to
settings >> profile management
create a new profile
and set the APN to “unrestricted” without the quotes!

You need to change your router settings, have been up the all night trying to fix this, create a new profile and On the APN put unrestricted, keep the game in cross play it'll work, let me know if it works for you...

I'm having the same issue. Everytime I try to get into a match it just kicks me out into the main menu and says Connection rejected: invalid_token. I haven't been able to get into a single game since the Aftermarket update launched. Before the update, everything was just fine.
I'm from South Africa. On ps4 and my ISP is Telkom

I am having the same invalid token message and i think it came because of crossplay because my friend has had the invalid token issue on his pc for a while before there was crossplay. I hope they fix it as soon as possible but they will probably only do it in a few weeks. Ffs

As we all know ea has the worst servers in the gaming industry so ill just advice u to not use ur money on this crappy game and forget apex is a game remember that the game is dying of lack of content

Any update on this problem? I'm from dbn also, and experiencing same problems. I'm only able to play if i join on someone else party and they host the game. Even now, I'm unable to play.

Same here, from Joburg and I'm getting the same error. I'm with Telkom as well.
Hope they can fix this bug really soon!

Were you able to solve it? I have been getting the same issue since yesterday, before it used to happen and all I’d had to do was log out and back into the game. But since yesterday it has not let me into a single match
