Forum Discussion
someone please remove "L0rdKenny's" reply . It adds nothing of substance to this thread and simply tells OP to "Go Play on Console" or wait it out.
I'm in no way being rude or disrespectful to anyone here in this thread. I'm just letting someone know their options as there is no current fix for AMD FX users beside the sad "disabling 2 cores" fix. My comment is related to the topic in this thread, and all I'm saying is if you're an AMD FX 6xxx user the only option that has worked for me is disabling my two cores. If you're not willing to disable it, and you have tried all the other possible fixes with no positive results, then you have only two real options. Play on console or jump in and out of the forums to see if one day they will fix it or log on once a week to see if the crash still exist. It's best to inform everyone about the issues and possible fixes than leaving them in the dark wondering why their game keeps crashing. This thread can be used for AMD FX users to update each other on any current issues or fixes that come to light.
On the other hand your comment Und3rd0gg is the only comment that hasn't contributed to the conversation in this thread. If you don't want to inform people in this thread about your crashing issues/ disconnects, or fixes, then I suggest just staying out of this thread. Thank you and have a good say sir.

No this thread is not for "AMD FX 6xxx users to update each other". You can go to one of the solved threads for that. The ONLY purpose of this thread is to try to get an update from someone who works at EA. I'm not interested in your laughable fix which is "go play on console". I don't care what worked for anyone else. I don't care what you think the problem is. You're not involved in this in any way. My first post was clearly directed at the developers and not to the community. If you don't work at EA you have no reason to respond to this thread.
- 7 years agohey guys, thanks to user bogutundersaw, there may be a work around for fx users that doesnt require disabling cores. i will bump thread but i can confirm, with over 48 hours of stress testing, this does indeed fix the connection to server timeout error. however, random CTD's will still occur, which is a separate bug but not nearly as common as the disconnection from server. i will bump his thread, but from what we can conclude, disabling your mic in game will lead to NO crashes from disconnect from server error. you can do this a number of ways, and he has a youtube video with his own stress test to demonstrate. i'll come back with the link when i find it, but you all should take a look at it
