Respawn/EA is aware of this issue and working on it, they've released numerous tweets stating this.
Today they've released another tweet backing it up:

Next to that, some players are unable to connect to the console platforms, which could be an indication that they're working on it right now. (Though I could be wrong)
At the very least we know that they're working on it, I understand that it's frustrating to wait for such a long time, but I'm sure the devs are annoyed by this issue too.
