Crash when queuing with a particular friend

Long story short, when I try to queue with friends there is USUALLY no problem.

But a pattern has been occurring (and I'm not 100% sure if this is the cause); when I queue with one friend in particular (AND ONLY THIS ONE) the game crashes to desktop without error at random intervals during a match. The timing of this varies from as early as the jump ship to the final 2 squads.

I thought it might be the same problem as others have had with crashes but it seems to only happen with one friend in particular.

This doesn't happen with other friends or in solo. I'm not sure if this is actually the problem or just some sort of super unlucky coincidence.
