Crash without error (DxDiag and Event Viewer Log included)
I've recently started to crash quite frequently without any error message, getting sent straight to the desktop.
At launch day and for about a week I played without crashing with both CPU and GPU overclocked, I now removed every overclock from the system to make sure it wasn't the cause.
My system:
- i5 3570k (no overclock)
-16GB DDR3 (1866mhz XMP profile)
-AMD R9 390 (no overclock) Drivers tested: 19.2.2, 19.2.1, 19.1.2, 19.1.1 (crashes with all of them)
-Asus p8z77-v pro motherboard
-Samsung Evo SSD for system and game
-CM V700 700W power supply
I had tried the following things before giving in and reinstalling windows on a brand new SSD (which still didn't solve the problem):
-disabling origin in-game overlay
-disable DVR
-disable Game Mode
-reinstalling the game
-reinstalling origin
-uninstalling all visual c++ versions and doing "repair game"
-reinstalling GPU drivers with DDU in safe mode
-running game at minimum settings
-run in various compatibility modes (admin, no fullscreen, etc)
I'd like to point out that this is the only game that crashes on my system. Other games I frequently play include (CSGO, PUBG, BFV, HITMAN 2, CITIES SKYLINES).
I have now found that when I crash there is an error event in the Windows Event Viewer. I included that in the files on this post, perhaps it can help you pinpoint the issue.
If you need me to do any further testing let me know.
EDIT: I included an additional event viewer error log that appeared shortly after the first one, perhaps it is related to the crash.
