Crashing after Season 8 update

Crashing to desktop when trying enter firing range on Fuse hard crashes no error reports after this update. Ive done everything on my end to try and fix this but appears i bought battle pass for nothing.

    I've been going crazy trying to figure out how to fix this, and I finally think I know what's going on.

    It's your account that is the issue.

    I always play on steam, but when that wouldn't work, I downloaded origin (I'm using a PC). That didn't work either. So THEN, I created a new EA account and BOOM, I finally got past the first screen of the game.

    Just absolutely unbelievable.

    I hope they fix this, or else my previous account needs to be reimbursed for everything I purchased. At least I can play now ☹️

    Hi all,

    Just to confirm, if this is only happening to you on specific accounts that is an issue we're currently tracking. The team has been working on getting this fixed, but right now I don't have any time frame on when it may be resolved. 

    Thanks for your patience on this while it's under investigation. I know this is an especially upsetting issue to have to deal with, and I'm sorry that I don't have more information to share at the moment. I've been keeping an eye out for updates on this, and if I do have any news to share I'll let everyone know.

    Thanks for the update Kent.

    If this issue gets fixed, will our accounts be granted the Season 7 battlepass items we couldn't unlock?

    If the issue isn't fixed within the next month (it's already been 4 months), will we get help transferring our account data?

    For starters my main account is on ps4 which is where I am experiencing the infinite Home Screen loop. Which I will say is enough to drive anyone crazy. I am not experiencing the same issue on my PC account which I thought was odd and just wrote it off to just waiting for the 2 year anniversary update would be the sure fix until stumbling across this thread. 
    from what I am reading it is a issue with the accounts and not the game? If this is the case and there is not a fix as of now. Will we be reimbursed with the items we missed since we have no ability to play the game? I know I’m not the only individual that has spend a nice chunk of money and time on their main on this game that is experiencing this issue. and to say I will be pissed to miss out on some of theses items and skins would be putting it lightly. If they are not going to issue the items to any accounts experiencing these issues will there be a way to merge accounts to share unlocked items across platforms as a solution? 
    EA is too large of a company for this to be such an issue I have never in my 20 years of gaming seen another company share so many issues without a reaction in a mainstream Game with a large following.

    @EA_Kent I am playing through steam and getting this notification when it crashes

    0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is a design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.

    What should I do?
