Create2DTexture failed

Hi, I get this CreateTexture2D failed error on numerous occasions...

Sometimes it happens when a teammate jumps off a high location and I get the same error with 'maxdept#' or some calculation failed as subtext.

I've even tried clean boot as mentioned in another post but that didn't work

I've also performed a clean installation of my nvidia drivers (gtx 1070) and have latest windows updates

I've attached screenshot of error and dxdiag

Hey guys

I tried turning down texture detail from "Insane(8GB)" to a more modest 4GB and have had zero issues since. Have played a few matches since and game engine works like a charm! 🙂

I'm getting all kinds of Engine Errors mid-game, what's going on? People seem to be streaming for hours with no issues....
This my rig, so there is no reason why I crash in this game so much with everything up to date.

I'm getting this same exact issue, I really want to play this game but it's very difficult when I get this crash every other match. I've also tried reinstalling the game and installing new drivers. Really hope some info gets shared about this.

Yeah, can y'all post your dxdiags? Hopefully some community rep will take a look over this issue soon enough

No pressure but @EA_Blueberry could you take a look at this sometime? I loved what little I could play of this game without issues!

The error appears during the game

Hey, @xXSleepingDogeXx @Bobomberman @Swagthizzle @tecnicks make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Apex and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

I tried all of that, and still same thing happens at random times. Everything is up to date, a little over $11,000 in this pc, so I'm sure it's not that, all other games run as should with no issues. I love what little I could play, something is going on with the game though.

I tried this and still did not help this game seems so fun but I can't play a whole game without crashing and it so annoying. Please fix
