I tried this and still did not help this game seems so fun but I can't play a whole game without crashing and it so annoying. Please fix

I must say though, I can only play in windowed mode as attempting to change to fullscreen gives other errors...meh
Tried that and no dice still.
When I changed from 8GB to 6GB my game crashed in 1min of the mach while with 8GB I could stay in game longer then 5mins. So I dont think this is solved.
Thanks @xXSleepingDogeXx , worked for me. I switched texture detail from 8GB to 4GB and went from "windowed borderless" to "fullscreen" and now I haven't crashed since
(my Specs are: GTX 1070, I5-4460, 16GB ram)

[Game crashed - Please help] My game keeps crashing either in the loading screen, menu screen or midway during the tutorial, the error I'm getting is;

Currently, my graphic card is an AMD RX 580 version 19.2.1
I did repair the files, switched the compatibility to window 7 and even 8, swapped the language to Polish.. I don't know what else I can do
I have a rx 580 too that keeps crashing on me tried EVERYTHING, I dont get any error messages just the crashing randomly in my games. âšī¸ hopefully they fix it soon.

Hi all,
I've been wanting to play Apex since the release date but every time I try and launch the game, my game crashes and it says '[Engine Error] CreateTexture2D (and then a different file every time). I've tried reinstalling launcher, reinstalling the launcher and the game at the same time, updating, resetting the game files, and verifying my files. Still the same error every time. Does anyone know how to fix this?

yep, most people before or even after playing the game love messing with the setttings. For that particular setting, setting it too high (insane 8gb) is actually causing the problem that everyone is experiencing. I too have been able to play flawlessly after turning that down to 4gb.
Did not worked for me. Or at least the error is different. I don't get the Create2DTexture error anymore, but the game still dies at some point.
Hey, I have this issue and I try to change my v-ram that's more suitable for me, however when I try to change my settings this same error pops up! I have no idea what to do and I really wanna play apex legends since I got a new graphics card with all the latest installments of everything!
