Cross Plat Lobby Game Chat Not Working

Can not hear friends in cross plat chat lobby. I am trying to play with a friend who is on ps4 i am on xbox. but i can not hear him in the lobby. it shows his mic, that he is speaking, but i can not...

I haven’t been able to talk in voice char for over three months now. I can hear teammates, but every once in a while I encounter players who cannot talk either (I know this because they always end up inviting me to party to talk bc the game voice chat doesn’t work)

What can I do? I have power cycled my xbox, restarted it, uninstalled apex twice, and I reset my settings every once in a while in hopes for it to fix and yet, nothing.

I already went through a lot of threads and no one seems to find an explanation as to why this is happening to a lot of players.

I have this problem as well. It doesn’t matter who I am playing with. I can not hear any one when trying to play cross platform and obviously they can not hear me. It is quite frustrating

  I’ve been trying all day to comment but I guess I can only reply to the comments. Anyway, I’m having issues with hearing other players when trying to play CrossPlay. I play with a switch and my husband with the Xbox, but neither of us can hear each other. When he plays he can only hear people who have an Xbox.

    I’m having this same issue, I’m on Xbox series X and whenever crossplaying with PlayStation, switch, and pc, my voice breaks up and they can’t hear me.
