Community ManagerI see, thanks for the details. Apex Legends doesn't have any sort of cross-platform progression, so unfortunately none of his progress would carry over to the Switch.
Do you have parental controls set up on your son's Xbox account? If so, have you had the chance to double-check and make sure that cross-play is allowed under the parental controls? If that option is disabled in the Xbox settings it might be why he's not able to play with his friends there.

All xbox settings are correct, he plays cross platform on fortnite fine. No parental controls and it's not a child account as its mine. We don't have separate accounts its all one.
