CrossProg and Account Issues
So with the new cross-progression thing this season, I was going to link my PC and PS accounts. Turns out for god knows why, I used 2 separate emails. So, what I want to do is be able to play with my PS account on Steam. I don't care if I lose the PC account there isn't much on it.
If I unlink my Steam from the PC ea account and then link the Steam to the PS ea account, will I then be on the PS account with all the items but be able to play on Steam?
Or should I just wait and hope they have some sort of ea account merge?
I tried asking this on the reddit but it got removed for some reason. I kinda want answers for the community if any player knows what is happening.

At this time we don't have any plans for transfers between separate EA accounts.
That said, what you've mentioned here is correct!
If I unlink my Steam from the PC ea account and then link the Steam to the PS ea account, will I then be on the PS account with all the items but be able to play on Steam?As you noted this will not transfer any progress from the EA account that had your Steam profile linked, as that progress stays with the EA account where it was first earned.
If that Steam profile is linked to your EA account that has progress from your PSN account, you'll then be able to access that content on any connected platform once Cross Progression is enabled for the account.
