CTD after S12 update. Mem violation?

Hi I'm new 🙂 Since the Season 12 update, Apex Legends crashes to desktop (CTD) with no error codes. I'm just playing ranked as Revenant and it crashes suddenly. Happens approximately every 2 hours...

Hi people!

If you can, please attach your logfiles here. It may help us find the solution.

They should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends\Crashpad\db.

Hi.

I have the same issue.

Based on the dump obtained by crashpad I can assume that it is a simple nullptr issue.

Reg rcx was null when this instruction executed mov word ptr [rcx+38h],dx

And I see NULL_CLASS_PTR_WRITE in all dumps provided by other people.

So we can say that rcx must have contained a pointer to the class.

It is certain that it has nothing to do with overclocking.

    Kinda figured. Ugh, what's people's opinion about extending the ranked season because of this issue?
