If you are using autoexec.cfg, just add this to the cfg file : reticle_color "0 255 0" (if you want green as reticle color)- 4 years ago
Don't know how the devs don't even test something as basic as this.
None of the methods work for me (launch options, locked profile.cfg, autoexec.cfg). The color always reverts to default.
Seriously, the devs need some competent new hires or something.

Same there no point even making the profile.cfg file read only because if it cant write to it. It just changes the menu back to default. Really buggy. I have to set my colours every game.

Also other people have reported this as well. They have done one better and made a video clip of the issue.
