I do not understand why I keep having dead slides and sprints or, in other words, stalling out when I am moving. I spoke to Sony about this stalling out in Apex Legends, fyi my controller is brand new, a while back and they said it is completely on the publisher's end; EA (Respawn - Developer). Furthermore, I spoke to many Apex players about whatever this is and they have not heard of these dead sprints/slides.
Community AdminDo you have a video of it happening? There was a bug a few months ago which lead to movement issues, but this has since been fixed.
It does sound like there may be a controller issue (sometimes they're DOA), do you have another one you can use to test? And do you get issues with any other games? I've had a few controllers die slowly and the issues can manifest to different degrees in different games.
I am getting the same issue. I thought it was a controller I brought a brand new one. My sprint stalls then my player deadslides and It’s like running in mud
