When launching Apex Legends i get a pop up window called "DisplayName field missing from registry" however it seems to differ from previous ones that have popped up for games such as Fifa and Battlefield as it also highlights in red writing "Cannot grant access, account status invalid", ive tried to get troubleshooting tips from EAhelp but none worked, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Had same problem for two days, tried everything but nothing worked. Created a new account and worked right away. The error must be tied to the account.

When I go to launch Apex Legends I get a box that pops up saying DisplayName field missing from registry. I ty putting my user name and password in, but get the same thing. I tried clearing Origin cache, also uninstalling and reinstalling both Origin and Apex Legends. Ant help would be appreciated.

Hey, @SoggyFlipFlop9, make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Apex.

It must be something weird with my account. I tried on same computer, but different account and it worked fine. Very strange!

I get the attached error every time I try open Apex Legends. Screenshot attached.
I've tried Repair, I've tried uninstalling BOTH Apex and Origin and redownloading, restarted PC, changing my account password, etc etc yet it's still screwed.
Any help anyone?

I installed Apex Legends two days ago and every time I launch the game this message came out every single time. I already uninstall the game and origin and did't work. I already try to clean cache of origin and did't work. I just want to play and i don't find an answer.

the same error I have, and the fifa 19 game has disappeared from origin and can not play anymore, do you have any advice for who did it?

Reason: This happend when Origin can't find the game in your library.

SIMPLE SOLUTION
Navigate to “Apex Legends” in the Origin store
Add the game to your library
On the “Download-Window” popping up just click next
The game won't be downloaded again, the installation will be automatically detected by origin
The “Cloud-Synchronisation” will start. After it finished (approximately 2 seconds) the game will start as normal.
