Was it already set to prefer maximum performance, or did you just now update it to that setting?

Thanks for following up!
Would it be possible to try rolling back to an earlier driver to see if that makes any difference at all? These errors should have been fixed with a new driver earlier this year, but I'm wondering if it's started happening again on more recent drivers.
Let me know if installing a previous driver has any impact.

The weird thing is that these errors were occurring on RTX cards before and are now happening on GTX cards. I’m temporarily reduced to a gaming laptop with “only” a GTX1060 and getting these errors. OP has a 1660Ti, neither of which are RTX cards. I’m running the latest nvidia drivers.

Anyone? I'm still getting this issue even after reinstalling the game.

Fixing to the earlier version of the driver won't help because these errors were more frequent on the older version.
I have tried multiple version with little luck so I decided to stick with the latest version.

@EA_KentHere's my DXDIAG, I'm running a GTX1060 mobile
- 5 years ago@EA_Kent I give up. Been trying literally everything but nothing works. Uninstalled the game. Rainbow 6 has no issues with my system and I can play for hours on end without ever crashing once.

I have encountered the same device hung error since mid season 4. I have a laptop with gtx 1050 and i have tried everything
1.) Downgraded my drivers to the one which was a fix to these errors
2.) Reinstalled my game and origin
Can u please tell me a solution to this problem?
