I just did that but when I try to install gpu drivers in geforce experience it just says "could not download recommended drivers". In every video I've seen they were able to look for updated drivers and download them directly in Geforce Experience.
So I went ahead and downloaded drivers in the windows update center. now it says that I have the GeForce Game Ready Driver 456.71 (10/07/2020 publish date, which is the same driver I had before I think) when I open Geforce Experience.
Upon trying to update these drivers it just says that I have the updated drivers after a splitsecond of searching......
I will try out the game now and tell you if it still crashes or not. /:
EDIT: game crashed again 10 minutes in with the same error as usual..
I am really losing hope here ):
latest nvidia driver for 1070:

ddu uninstall:

(you need to run this in windows safe mode)
Maybe use windows "event viewer" to find out about the livekernel errors i'm seeing in your dxdiag.txt, it might be not related to device hung error but we can try
- 5 years ago@Konform103 Thank you mate.
I was just in the process of re-doing the whole DDU thing (in safe mode), but my geforce experience still says "recommended drivers could not be downloaded" (I even created a whole new nvidia account). The whole GeForce Experience UI does not respond except the "Log out" button and "try again"
I have downloaded the 1070 drivers you've linked in your post now instead.
What are those livekernel errors that I have? Sure man everyhing I can do to finally get my PC running properly again. What can I do with the event viewer or how can I find out/repair those errors?
D: - 5 years ago@MurphyseSmurphy you can also use windows reliability monitor, more info:

@Konform103I feel more stupid with every post I make lol
In Windows 10 I can use the windows button + A and then something pops up on the right side of the screen but I cannot find the action center anywhere D:
EDIT: ok i am finally able to access the reliability monitor. At least something.... - 5 years ago@MurphyseSmurphy if you are looking for windows reliability monitor just enter it into windows search bar.. same for windows event viewer

@Konform103just did that thank you.
And now, do you want a screenshot of that monitor?
Under critical events I can see that there are a lot of "hardwarefehler" (german for hardware error) everyday. D: - 5 years ago@MurphyseSmurphy yes but send me the screenshots to my mail otherwise this post gets "too chatty"..
its my username and then add @outlook.com - 5 years ago
@Konform103 I have included screenshots here:

Okay nerver mind, had time to play today for some hours... And after 3h it crashed again. I love it. Hope the next Season update fixes the issue :/

@MurphyseSmurphywas it possible for you to fix the problem?

@R4TH0S may I know what sort of Antivirus you're using?
I'm currently having the same issues and have been having it ever since I've started playing in Season 7.
I've tried the following solutions:
Update Graphics Driver
Roll back graphics driver to older version
Reinstall graphics driver using DDU
Edit Registry with TdrLevel and TdrDelay
Lower in game settings
Underclock gpu and cpu

Just the standard Windows Defender 😅 @ChuckleBuckle97

@ChuckleBuckle97 do you use GSync? I found a thread were they mentioned that GSync could cause crashes.
- 5 years ago
@R4TH0S No I don't think I use G-Sync.
Do you happen to have a system notification in your notification tray saying "r5apex.exe has been denied access to graphics hardware" every time you crash? You might have to open your system tray at the bottom right of your Windows toolbar.
This got me thinking its an anti-virus problem because other users who played Dota 2 or CSGO have this issue too. And given that Apex is a Source-engine based game, I thought there might be a connection.
