It's going to keep sending it out to that older number. Did you keep a record down of your back-up codes? You can pop one of those in and change the number it's registered to.

I haven’t kept record of those and I haven’t had that number for a good few years now. I have updated my number on my ea account

You were able to update the EA account number? Was there login verification set-up on the EA account before hand or was the verification codes coming from the twitch account side?
- EA_LannaHi I’m having the same issue I changed my phone number on my ea account and it’s fine on ea.but when I am in twitch it keeps using my old ea phone number I don’t understand I’ve changed and verified my new number but it keeps only sending codes to my old phone number
